BAXTER, Joy Ellen (nee Doran)

Peacefully at the Thessalon Hospital, with her family by her side on Friday, October 22, 2004 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Peter. Loving mother David Doran, Bruce Doran, Patricia Kay (Merv), Michael Doran (Linda) and the late Mellonie Doran. Step mother of Scott Baxter (Kristy). Proud nana of Lee, Ellen, Neil, Bethany, Miranda, Sherry and Crystal. Great grandmother of 4. Dear sister of George Ray (Audy), Edward Ray and predeceased by Kenny Ray and Jean Alton (Allan). Sister-in-law of Bob Baxter (Terry) and Tim Baxter. Dear daughter-in-law of George and Christine Baxter. Joy will be sadly missed by Pat Bernard, Frank Doran (Joan) and many other close friends. A memorial service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at 1 pm. Mrs. Marilyn Billings officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Thessalon Hospital would be appreciated. A special thank you to Dr. Heather Blois and staff at the Thessalon Hospital for their special care of Joy during her final days.
