Dougie H. Bayes passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 27, 2001 at the age of 54 years. Loving husband and best friend of Darlene. Dearly loved father of Shelley (Dale), Chrissy (Tate) and Shannon (Hugh). Proud Papa of Jordan, Josh, Ryan, Julia, and Nicholas. Son of the late Karin and Norman Bayes. Son-in-law of Gord and Jenny Wilmore. Brother of Linda (Bill), Suzanne (Dave), Nancy (Len), and the late Ken. Brother-in-law of Danny (Trudy) and Laurie (Tim). Remembered by his nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home on Sunday, Dec. 30 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, Dec. 31 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Jim Gordon officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
