passed away peacefully at the Tendercare Nursing Home with his family by his side on Monday, August 11, 2003 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Olive Belair. Step father to late Red Godard (Vera) of Sudbury, Richard and Orla Godard of Elliot Lake, late Roger (Elenor) of Massey, Pauline & George Simmons of the Sault, Julie and Dave Track of Espanola, Jack and Audrey Godard of the Sault, Suzanne and Rene Guimond of the Sault, Jackie and Wilkie Langil of Wawa, Gerry and Jean Gagnon of Elliot Lake, late Elzebet Belair (Ray) and Diane Belair. Grandfather and great grandfather to many. Brother of late Marieanne Allaire (Francis) of Montreal, Theresa Kobelko of Blind River, late Gertrude Blanchette (Armand) of Wawa, late Omer (Yvonne) of the Sault, late Donat (Marie) of Sault, Michigan, late Charles (Eva) of the Sault. Uncle of Leo Belair (Elqy), Victor and Anita Belair, Roger Belair, Normand Belair, Mark Tourgney, Lesley Harrob, Cecil Belair, Yvette Belair, Helene Ferguson (Larry), Claire Barronetta (Ray), Elzebet Belair (Ray), Joyce Belair and Nicole Tourgney. Cousin to many from Debden, Saskatchewan. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, August 13, 2003 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service from the chapel on Thursday, August 14, 2003 at 11 am. Rev. Bernard Burns officiating. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
