Surrounded by love, Florence Belec peacefully passed away on June 12, 2004 at the age of 87. Florence is survived by her daughters Judi (Bob) – Calgary, Barbara (Bill) – Conestoga, Cathie (Kevin) – Kansas; grandchildren Laurie, Lynda, Kim, Rob, Scott, Melora, Raegan, Justin, Katie and Brenna; and great grandchildren Mia and Brenley. She was predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd, cherished daughter Bonnie (Roy) and sister Artimise. Often described as a fashion plate in the Sault area, Flo epitomized style and grace. She delighted in the camp life of chipmunks, loons, playing cards and spending time with loved ones. Gently guiding us with her wisdom, love and humour, Flo will be dearly missed. Special thanks to Dr. Marrack and the staff at Sault Area Hospitals for their compassionate care and attention. Friends and family are invited to a “come and go” celebration of Flo’s life at her home of 455 MacDonald Avenue on Tuesday, June 15 between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library would be appreciated.
