It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Clorinda (Florence) at the Sault Area Hospital, on Friday, October 12, 2018.

Wife and soulmate of the late Dominic of 53 years. Dearest mother of Rose Mammarella (Alex), and Nick Berlingieri (Anita). Grandmother of Lori Marano (Dustin), Amy Pagnotta (Frank), Nicolas Berlingieri, and Alexandra Berlingieri (Adam). Great-grandmother of Lucas and Logan Marano, and Michael and Mason Pagnotta. Daughter of the late Vincenzo and Assunta Pirillo. Sister of the late Dominic Pirillo (Mary). Daughter-in-law of the late Francesco and Maria (Spadafora) Berlingieri. Sister-in-law of Lina Berlingieri (late Carmine), late Pietro Berlingieri (late Luigina), late Anna Spadafora (late Eugenio), late Ida Berlingieri (late Vincenzo), late Giuseppe Berlingieri (late Fiorina), late Giovanni Berlingieri, late Raffaele Berlingieri (late Erminia), late Angelina Berlingieri, late Virginia Panzetta (late Giovanni), late Eugenio Berlingieri (late Ida), and the late Alberto Berlingieri (late Michele). Special aunt and cousin to many.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Alex Sauriantiadathil officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Ontario Finnish Resthome Association or the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

A very special thank-you to Serafina Aube, Mary Pirillo, Jim Pirillo, and Teresa Severini whose love and dedication contributed to our mother’s care. Also, Father Alex for his friendship and blessings. Our gratitude goes out to the medical team, including doctors, nurses and caregivers that supported our mother during her time in the ICU and 3C. Lastly, a huge appreciation to the Finnish Resthome Kotitalo Assisted Living, a place where our mother could thrive and create a meaningful quality of life with many friendships.
