Peacefully at Algoma Manor, Thessalon on Friday, November 26, 2004. Clara Bird in her 97th year, beloved wife of the late Arthur Bird. Daughter of the late William and Lucy Burch. Loving mother of Jean Bird of Ridgeway, Betty Grisdale (Dail) of Sault Ste. Marie and Terry McPhee (John) of Thessalon. Special grandmother to 18 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late William, Harry, James and Fred Burch, Mary Moore and Emma St. Amand. Dear sister-in-law of Ina Pitt of Sault Ste. Marie, Joyce MacLean of Thessalon and the late George, Jerry, Earl and Glen Bird, Marjorie Hernden and Marion Lambert. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon, where friends may call on Sunday, November 28, 2004, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Thessalon, on Monday, November 29, 2004 at 10:00 o'clock. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations to the Algoma Manor Redevelopment Fund greatfully accepted.
