Lovingly surrounded by family members at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Saturday, November 15, 2003 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Agnes (nee Syrette) for 50 years. Loving father of Lynda “Lyn” of Vancouver B.C., David (Jennifer) of Calgary, Beverly of Ottawa, Michael (Pam), and Steven (Carla) all of the Sault. Cherished grandfather of Eryn, James, Tory, and Scott. Son of the late Stanley and Annie Blanchard. Dear nephew of the late Mabel Blanchard, late Harold Blanchard, late Mary Chekman, late Charlie Shumovich, late Julia Kuzmich, and the late Sophie Petrina. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 for a memorial service at 11 am Rev. Betty Pretty officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
