BOISSONEAU, Victor Bernard - With great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing at the age of 82 years old of Victor Bernard Boissoneau who peacefully passed away in his home with his best friend/dog by his side Winchester (Chester) on Monday November 9, 2020.
Bernard was part of the eagle clan. Who will soar high through the clouds. He was a loving husband to Lyma Boissoneau. Loving father to three children; Tanya (nee Boissoneau) Seigmiller (Jason) Byron Boissoneau and Jill Boissoneau. Loving grandpa to Annette Boissoneau, Danielle and Tiffany Belleau, Brooklyn, Tiana,Tristen, and Jason Jr Seigmiller, Chase Neveau, Cody Smith, Curtis St. Pierre, and Victor St. Pierre. Loving great grandpa to Jayda, Kaylynn, Jayden, Jeridan, Nevaeh, and baby Aurora.
God father to Todd Pine and Annette Boissoneau. He is predeceased by his parents Oliver Lesage and Dorthy Boissoneau. Step-son to the late Guy Belleau. Brother of the late Leona Jacobs (nee Lesage), late Florence Lesage, late Tony Lesage late loving little sister Ruby.
A little bit about Victor Bernard. He was always happy, kind and gentle man to others. He loved all his children, grand children and children who weren’t his own, he loved to play the guitar and sing with his best friend and dog Winchester, he was loyal to his church in Garden River, he attended every festival activities and was an active member of Garden River. In his community he was a man of many trades. He worked very hard for many years as professional logger, he was a school bus driver, a local garbage man, and built many buildings, roads and highways. In 1977 he built his own home with the help of some loyal friends, where he lived for the rest of his peaceful days with his local dog. He loved watching storage wars, doing crossword puzzles, he loved going to the casino. He helped many people over the years as much as he could. He enjoyed playing music along with listening to he good ole country classics. He loved talking on the phone to his daughter Tanya and his granddaughter Annette.
Friends are invited to visit the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St,. East 705-759-2522) on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 9 am until time of service in the chapel at 11 am (Maximum capacity 40 people at a time, physical distancing and masks required). The family would like to thank Sara Belleau his personal support worker who worked hard everyday to make sure his needs were met. He was very thankful of her and all she had done for him to making his meals and gentle conversations. Special thanks to his Loving granddaughter Annette over the years, who was his biggest advocate. She was dedicated to his care in making sure he was living comfortably and independently in his home until his final resting day.
His kind gentle smile and humour with his stories will be missed by many.
