Passed away peacefully at Maple View Nursing Home on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in her 85th year.  Beloved wife of Edwin Johnson and the late Kenneth “Biff” Bonnell.  Much loved mother of Kenny Bonnell (Tonia) and Debra Brunton (Michael).  Dear step-mother of Kelly MacAdam (Don), Allan Johnson (Laurie Bifano) and Mark Johnson (Melisa).  Cherished grandmother and great grandmother of many.  Daughter of the late Henry and Lillian Matthews.  Loving sister of Dorothy Jean Halford, Anne Maskluk (Paul) and Becky Smith (Eldon).  June will be lovingly remembered by the Bonnell and Johnson families as well as her nieces and nephews.  A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Maple View Nursing Home – Harmony Bay with a special thank you to Robin, Terri and Debbie.  At June’s request a private family service was held at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522).  Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
