Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, August 1, 2019 with family and friends by his side at the age of 62.
Predeceased by his parents Benedetto "Beny" and Lucia Bortone. Loving brother of Antonio "Tony" (Giuseppina). Dear uncle of Lucy (Eric Maxfield), Beny (Marien) and David (Michelle). Great uncle of Lauren Maxfield. Special nephew of Teresa, late Nicola (late Antonio Palermo) and Giuseppina Bortone, Teresa Notte (late Mattia), late Rocco (late Josephine), and Anthony Cuccovia (Betty). Rocco will also be remembered by many cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents Antonio and Maria Bortone and Pietro and Angela Cuccovia.
Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East)on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Funeral Mass to be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel on Tuesday at 1 pm. Rev. Paul Conway officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque) to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic or charity of your choice.
