It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Maynard at the age of 81. Son of the late Lillian and William Boyer. Proud father of Carrie Virta (Kyle), Annette Meshell, Melanie Boyer and the late Bobbie Jean Boyer. Grandfather of Isaiah Virta (Jessica) and Julia Virta (Douglas), Thomas Boyer, Dalton Myers (Kaycee), Karlee Meshell, Reagan Meshell, Autumn Price, Dalton Boyer, Shaelynn Hodgson, Skyla Hodgson and Jayden Hodgson. Great grandfather Tehya Virta, Landon Belleau, Jullian Virta.
Maynard will be fondly remembered for being an avid guitar player. He was a loving man who loved spending time outdoors in nature.
Friends and family are invited to Maynard's home at 16 Batchewana St. on Sunday December 29 at 6:00 pm. A burial will take place at the Garden River Catholic Cemetery at 3:00 pm on Monday December 30. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (Made payable by cheque or online) to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
