BOYER, Shirley Ann (nee Amyotte)
September 17, 1938 – February 26, 2023
With loving family by her side, Shirley passed away peacefully at Golden Birches Terrace in her 85th year. She is reunited with her beloved husband Arthur (1999) and her daughter Debbie (1978). Devoted and loving mother of Shane (Dianna), Brian, Jaime (Robb). Proud grandmother of Shayna (Aaron) and Kevin and great grandmother of Finnley and Ainsley. Fondly remembered by her brother Bill (Shawn) and her niece Samantha (Joel) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was a great mother and grandmother. She loved family gatherings and visiting with friends. She enjoyed shopping for herself and others and really liked a good game of bingo. Every evening she and Shane watched Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy…he will miss these nightly visits.
The family wishes to thank Carol-Ann Agnihotri, Dr. Nicholas Jeeves and the staff at NSHN-Blind River. They also wish to thank the staff at Golden Birches Terrace for their compassionate care.
Burial at Hillside Cemetery will take place in the spring and will be followed by a celebration of Shirley’s life.
