With deep sadness we announce the passing of Rebecca (Becky) Dawn Boyle on Monday, February 20th 2023 at Sault Area Hospital at the age of 65.  Becky is finally reunited with her loving husband, Ross Boyle and her daughter, Sarah Boyle.

Becky is survived by her daughters Christine Boyle (Kevin Mitchell), Morgan Swain, and Ellason Chamberlain (Spencer). Loving grandmother to Gavin Veenstra (Violet), Christopher, Kianna and Gracelyn McCabe, Hailey and Harmony Swain.

Becky is also survived by her mother Grace Aelick (late William), and younger siblings Beth Fleming (Denzel), Brenda Aelick, William Aelick (Connie), Beverly Lyons (Barry), and Belinda Junor (Terry). Sister in law to Sharon MacMillan (Robert), and Nancy Moodie (late Michael).  Becky leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She will also be deeply missed by close friends Kimberly Johnston and Denise Andreychuk.

Becky enjoyed her career as an RN working on 2Y of the General Hospital. She later went on to work in the offices of Dr. Mike Kuntz, Dr. Sean Mace, and Dr. Francis Leung. She was a generous, kind hearted soul who would house and care for anyone who was in need. She also had a great affinity for animals and would care for and take in any of the neighborhood strays.

Becky was a friendly and outgoing lady who would talk to strangers for hours if given the chance. She never passed up the opportunity to watch her children or grandchildren participate in extracurricular activities where she was their biggest fan and supporter. Becky was the “unofficial” team videographer and medic for the White Pines wrestling team. She loved attending meets with her family all over the province.

A special thank you to the staff of the SAH cancer clinic for their care during her years of cancer treatment. To Paramedics Greg and Mark as well as the ER and ICU staff who showed her much compassion and care in her final days, we can’t thank any of you enough.

Cremation has taken place, a Celebration of Life will be announced in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East). In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the SAH foundation, Humane Society, or charity of your choice. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the Boyle family.
