Passed away peacefully at Maple View Extendicare on Monday, August 17, 2020 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Virginia Brady (nee Gallotti). Loving father of Paul (Renee) of Surrey, BC, David (Rosemary) of Rocky Mountain House, AB, Susan Brady of Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Grace Brady of Guelph, ON and Colleen Brady (Terry Hill) of Richards Landing, ON. Proud grandfather of Lara Martin (Thomas), Corinne Brady and Jodie Quinton. Dear brother of the late Grace Mathewson (late Alex), late Sheila Melchin (late Doug), Paul Brady (Mary), late Alan "Cork" Brady and Patsy McKinnon (Ellwood). Brother-in-law of late Ben Gallotti (late Diane), late Carlo Gallotti, Esther Lemieux (late Louis), Josephine "Jo" Cerutti, late Amelia "Milia" Campeau, Isobel Gallotti and Tom Gallotti (Fran). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Rev. Mr. Dick Brady PD served at St. Jerome Parish from 1984 until is ordination in 1989, then serving as Deacon until 2002.
Family and friends are invited to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522) on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (maximum of 40, masks are required). Funeral Mass to be held at Precious Blood Cathedral (maximum 60 people, masks are required) on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 9 a.m. Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (maximum 100 people). A celebration of life will be held at a later date when we can all gather together.
