BRUCE, Margaret Joyce (nee Tran) “Peggy”
July 10, 1940 – November 12, 2022
Peggy passed away peacefully at the Algoma Manor in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her husband Donald Stewart Bruce. Proud and loving mother of James, Douglas, David and Dan. Grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 2. Sister of Don Tran and Susan Gilfoy.
Peggy worked in banking and owned her own convenience store in Chaput Hughes. She retired in Peterborough and moved to the Algoma Manor in Thessalon. She was an avid curler, enjoyed playing bridge and kept large gardens.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Algoma Manor for their compassionate care and kindness.
Per Peggy’s wishes, there are no funeral services. She will be laid to rest at Melville Cemetery near Stouffville at a later date.
