Passed away peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones.
She is now reunited with her love Domenic Bumbaco. Debbie was a loving mother to Christine Starzomski (Ian), Jessica Myers (Blake Prendergast), and Sherie Nicholson (Jared); and an adoring grandmother to Alfred and Annie. Debbie spent her life on her passions: travel, cooking for and spending time laughing with family. She was the eldest daughter of the late Lloyd and Joyce Diboll and is survived by her brothers Mark (late Annette) and Larry; and is predeceased by her sisters Kathy Sinibaldi (Kerry, partner Kim) and Gail Douglas (Mark). Family was everything to Debbie and she will be deeply missed by Breanne, Hillary, Lauren, Bryan, Zach, Jake, Jenny, Eric, Katie and Celeste, and by her beloved Emily, Travis, Murphy and Sullivan, who knew her as Auntie Dee Dee. Debbie was loved and will be remembered by many more aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews, as well as her dear friends in the Dominican Republic.
The family would like to thank her close friend and caregiver Debby Brock as well as the staff of the Sault Area Hospital, especially Jenny Waugh, and Drs. Shafiee, Berry, Hill and Jadavji. According to her wishes, the family is holding a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) in her honour to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation.
