CADA, John Eugene

Posted

April 5, 1940 – July 15, 2022

Mississauga First Nation has lost another warrior.  John fought as hard as he could but severe pneumonia won this time.  After five days in the hospital, John left this world on July 15th, 2022.  He probably left either riding his motorbike or driving his beloved car with little pompoms hanging all across the front window.

John was born in Blind River, Ontario and was predeceased by parents Angus and Elizabeth Cada, brothers Randy, Roger and Bob, sister Judy, nephews Nick Cada and Joe Caibaiosai.  He will be missed by brother Wayne Cada, special friend Linda Jourdain, numerous nieces and nephews, countless kids and friends near and far.

Nobody loved a good time more than John, AKA Johnny Cash.  He loved helping out, lending a hand and fixing things.  Anyone who loved his dogs as much as John did, can’t be too bad.

Sorry Casino Thunder Bay, John has “cashed out”.

Celebration of Life will be at Mississauga First Nation Cultural Center, Park Street, MFN, between 11:00 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Tuesday July 26th.  Burial to follow at St. Edwards Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home
