Passed away peacefully with family by her side at ARCH on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at the age of 83.
Beloved daughter of the late Fred and the late Jenny Clark. Sister of Judy ( late Jim), late George and Allen. Wife to late Clarence Cain and late Leopold Hache. Mother to Paulette (Michael), late Paul (Tanna), Tim (Julie) and Tricia. Gramma to Rebekah, Nathan, Brian, Ellery, Alex, Hailey and Carson. Great Gramma of 6. June will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mom was a true Islander at heart. Excelling at baking, quilting, painting, and good advice. Always an eternal optimist, nobody ever left the table hungry, and you always believed "it'll all work out" no matter how bad things seemed. She was a great friend to many, and an inspiration to all, having overcome an incredible number of adversities in life by reminding us "it could be worse". We always found comfort in the humour. We will always be warm with those amazing quilts, and we will always fondly remember you as we continue the tradition of "food pushing". Thanks Mom for the life, Love, laughter, and memories you have blessed us all with.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at Trefry Centre (1601 C Line Rd, Richards Landing). A private family interment will take place at a later date. Memorial contribution (payable by cheque or online) may be made to the Trefry Centre.
