Passed peacefully in her sleep at Algoma Manor. Much loved mom to her daughter Karen and son in law Steve Senecal and the late Jeff Thomas. Proud grandma of Coty (Logan), Chelsya (Ben) and Bradley (Alannah) and great grandma of Kinsey. Daughter of the late George and late Thelma Gillespie. Predeceased by her siblings Bill Gillespie (late Iris), Susan Gaye Valiquette (late Paul) and Douglas Gillespie. Wife of the late Stu Cameron.
Mom grew up on the Gillespie family farm outside of Thessalon. She spent most of her life in Thessalon where she was a teacher then co-owned a small business. She eventually moved to the Soo and enjoyed many years working at Metro Churchill Plaza. After her stroke, she chose to move back to Thessalon and enjoyed her time at Algoma Manor where she participated in all activities especially Bingo and musical entertainment.
Always a sports fan, when not watching family members play baseball or hockey the television was on watching the Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and curling.
The family would like to thank the staff at Algoma Manor for the many years of excellent care.

A private family service will be held at a future date.
Betty Anne will be fondly remembered by the Gillespie, Thomas and Senecal families.
