Hazel May Cameron passed away at Meadow Park Nursing Home, London, Ontario, on November 25, 2002 at the age of 87 years. Daughter of the late James and Irene (May) Cameron. She was predeceased by her brother (Rod Cameron) and sister (Agnes Page) both of Sault Ste. Marie. She is survived by her sister, Jean Hunt of Sault Ste. Marie, niece Dianne (David) Cooke of London, nephews Fred (Patti) Page, Brian (Ann) Page, Rod (Roberta) Page and Douglas Page all of Sault Ste. Marie. She is also survived by great nieces Meghan Cooke (Matthew Kennedy) of Calgary, Hilary Cooke of California, Solange Page of Sault Ste. Marie, and great nephew Alex Page of Sault Ste. Marie. Miss Cameron lived most of her life in the United States where she obtained her M.A. in music from Western Reserve University in Cleveland. She taught music for many years in a private school and subsequently worked for a publishing firm. She was active as a church organist and choir director.
