It is with broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Frances (Franca) Campagna on Monday, September 30, 2024 at the age of 77.
Frances was a devoted mother to Mark (Kerri) and Lisa (Jason). Special Nonna, to her granddaughters Avery and Audrey, whom she was so proud of. Avery and Audrey will miss their “Nonni” and will carry her memory always. She was married to Eddy (Ettore) for 19 years until his passing in 1991.
Frances was born in Lago, in the province of Cosenza, Calabria Italy on January 5, 1947, daughter of the late Guido Politano and Pierina (need Coscarella). Sister of the late Diego Politano (Donna), Maria Guzzo (Giovanni) and Josie (Colin Millar). Sister-in-law of the late Giuliana Calvano (late Vince) and Marcello Campagna (Pina). Loving aunt of her many nieces and nephews.
Our mother was a kind and generous soul. She was happiest tending to her flower garden, gushing about her granddaughters and spending time with family and friends, most of all her best friend of more than 50 years Isabel DeLuca (Aldo).
Special thank you to nurse Kasia. Her unwavering dedication and support to our mother was beyond measure. A heartfelt thank you to ARCH for the exceptional care given to our mother in her final days, especially Dr. Apostle. Words cannot express the excellent and compassionate care provided to our family by both the staff and volunteers, you all went above and beyond.
