Peacefully on Friday May 13, 2022, at the age of 91.
Loving wife of the late Armando Cavallo. Cherished mother of Gino (Tracy). Beloved daughter of the late Giuseppe and Lauretta Deleonardis. Sister of (late) Gueriero Deleonardis (late Michelena), (late) Alessandro Deleonardis (late Pierina), late Amerigo Deleonardis all of Bucchianico, Italy, late Palmerino Deleonardis (late Matilda), late Giacomo Deleonardis (late Maria) of Perth, Australia. Sister-in-law of Antonietta Bitonti (late Joe). Aunt of Tony Bitonti (Rose) and Lisa Bengart (Drew). Special and dearest first cousin of Domenico and Yolanda D’Orazio and “nonna” to their children, David D’Orazio (Alicia) and Sonia Aikens (Leo). Also survived by several nieces and nephews in Italy and Australia.
Our family would like to thank Doctors Jarrett, Vine, Taylor and N. Apostle for the special care provided to our mother during her difficult time. Thank you to the Sault Area Hospital Emergency department staff, especially nurses Shannon and Leslie. Thank you to the Group Health Centre nurse Jennifer Murray and Elizabeth from the March of Dimes. We sincerely appreciate your compassion, professionalism and special care given to our mother.
