It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Christopher Grozelle on Friday, March 6, 2020 at the age of 55. The son of Jean Grozelle (Springbett) and the late Calvin Grozelle. He leaves behind his fiancé Anglea Regero of the Philippines, his cat Calab, siblings Scott Grozelle (Tania), Karen Fill (Andrew), Lisa Russell (Mike), and many Aunts and uncles. Chris was a favourite uncle to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Chris had a great passion for living life to the fullest. He loved traveling, experiencing new cultures, foods and adventure all over the world including many trips to Central America, and his new adventures to the Philippines. He loved to share his photos, recipes and stories from all of his unique trips. After 32 years of service at Algoma Steel he chose to announce his retirement this past week and follow his heart to the Philippines to marry the love of his life Angela, so they too could make new adventures together and live happily ever after. Sadly Chris passed away before he could fulfill his greatest adventure.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East) on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 11 am to 1:45 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Preregister in advance is recommended. Please call the funeral home 705-759-2522 between 9 am and 4:30 pm as capacity is limited.
