Passed away peacefully at Sault Area Hospital on Sunday June 6, 2021 at the age of 79.
Survived by her loving husband, Wasyl of 58 years. Mother of Elizabeth, Nikolai and Myron. Daughter of Nicholas and Victoria Turinski. Sister of Janka (Rene) Kielbasa, (children, Luba, Victor and Natalia) of Sarnia, ON, Adam Turinski of Ottawa, ON and family in Ukraine. Survived by her uncle, Myron Yaworski (Yanna) of Mississauga, Gienek (Jola) of Mississauga, Ala (Michael), (children, Natalia and Victoria) of Chicago, Miroslva Yaworska, (children, Roksolana and Vira) of Chicago. Aunt to Walter (Lana) Jakubski and great aunt of Melissa of Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Anna was a long time parishioner of St. Mary's Ukrainian Church.
Visitation in church, will take place on Wednesday June 9, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. Masks and social distancing required. A family funeral will take place on Thursday June 10, 2021 at 1 p.m. Father Jaroslaw Lazoryk officiating. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Sault Area Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Ukrainian Church Building Fund.
