In loving memory and with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Susan, 63 years old, on Thursday April 23, 2020 after a life altering struggle with MS. She was a loving mother to 15 children, Sammy, Dropkick, Flash, Taz, Squeak, Shadow, Klinger, FatBoy, Bunister, Buzz, Zebby, Gumby, Jasper (all predeceased) Toby, Gus and Maggie. (furbabies all). Beloved wife and best friend of David for 33 years. Predeceased by her parents Stan Sr. and Audree Snider. Loving sister of Stan Jr. (Helena), Sandra (Don) and Sally (predeceased) (Chris). A special Aunt to Cathy, Kim, Kelly, Laurie, Karen, Stan Jr, Derek and Stan Tranter. Dear daughter-in-law of Lorne (predeceased) & Marlene Chuipka. Sister-in-law, Susan, Brother-in-laws Brian (Sharon), Perry (Lore) and Rick (Carol). Sue worked in social work for 20 years, various organizations and enjoyed helping people. She was a very talented writer, creative quilter and stain glass maker. Sue learned gardening from her father and grew all her own herbs and spices. Sue endeavored with success making her own teas, preserves and breads which she graciously shared with everyone. She was a fabulous cook who enjoyed teaching and sharing her talents. Sue was an active member at Emmanuel, Harmony/St Mark’s and Grace United Churches who along St Joseph Island Free Methodist church all generously supported her during her illness. Special thanks to all the health care professionals that attended to her home and Nursing Home needs. Due to Covid19, cremation only, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations to the SPCA /Animal Shelters and MS Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
