passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, August 29, 2003 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Giuseppina Cocchiola. Dear father of; Grace Stach (late Fred) and Bernie Cocchiola (Linda). Grandfather of Josey Bougie (Ted), Jeannine Ayotte (Serge), John Stach (Jessica), John Cocchiola (Kelly), Johanna Cocchiola (Jeff Reich), Amanda Cocchiola and Lindsay Cocchiola. Great grandfather of; Joshua and Jessica Bougie, Jade, Nicole and Jake Ayotte, Jerzy Stach and Madeline Cocchiola. Son of the late Bernardo and Maria-Antonia Cocchiola. Brother of; the late Angelo Sandoli (Teresa) of Italy, the late Rocco Cocchiola (Alba) of Sudbury, Giuseppe Cocchiola (Incoronata), Grazia DiLleo of Italy and Armando Cocchiola (Grazia) of Waterbury, Conn., U.S.A. Son-in-law of the late Nicola and Maria Collela. Brother-in-law of; Filippo of Luxenburg, Carmela of Germany, Genoeffa of Italy, Fulgencio and Benito both of Venezuela and Alfredo of Italy. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Gregory’s Church on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at 1:00 pm with Reverend Vic Amadio officiating. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund or to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
