Went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 in his 85th year. Loving husband of Olga (Chic). Dear father of Barry (Barbara Arnill), Linda (Claire Lasook) and Sandra. Grandfather of Vicki Lynn Theriault and great grandfather of Matthew and Adam. Brother of Kathleen Hambleton (Robert), Beulah Bugden (Neil), Arnold (Agnes) and William (Gail). Predeceased by his parents, James and Alice Collins and brothers, Harold (late Ruby) and Ellard (late Freida). A veteran of WWII, he was in the Royal Canadian Airforce. He worked at Algoma Steel for 34 years and was a past president of Local 2251. He served as Alderman in Ward 4 and also on the International Bridge Committee. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and various community agencies. He was also an avid golfer and gardener.
