Peacefully, surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness on
Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Sault Area Hospital; Mario Colosimo in his 71st year.
Beloved husband of Antonia (nee Briglio). Dear father of: Rose Esson (Allan),
Marisa Fenos (Eddy), Teresa Ressel (Eric) of Punta Gorda, Florida, Tony (Maria) of
Scarborough, Ontario, Sandy (Ann) of Sarnia, Ontario and Frank (Rachelle).
Grandfather of: Vanessa, Daniel and Michael Esson, Adelchi and Sara Fenos, Natalie
and Victoria Ressel, Angelica Colosimo and Ricky and Ryan Colosimo. Son of the late
Francesco and Rosanna Colosimo. Brother of: the late Antonetta Ferriero (Pietro),
late Pasquale (late Mariarosa) and Lisa Pata (late Arturo) all of Italy.
Brother-in-law of: Caterina Parise (late Luigi), Irma Pulice (late Giuseppe) of
France, Carmine Briglio (Maria), Salvatore Briglio (Rosina), Luigi Briglio (late
Francesca) of New York, Giuseppe Briglio (Emilia) of Ottawa and Maria Cuglietta
(late Giovanni). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at
the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Sunday evening
from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass on Monday, April 4, 2005 at St. Gregory's
Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Jack David officiating. Entombment at Holy
Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or
Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
