Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 4, 2021 with family by his side at the age of 85. He is now reunited with his wife Ethel of 61 years. Loving father of Larry (Betty). Proud grandfather and great-grandfather. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Agnes Comeau. Brother of Pauline Aucoin (late Luke) and numerous brothers and sisters. Brother in law of the late Ronald Pountney (late Joan), Robert Pountney (Margaret), late Terry Pountney (Yvonne) and Larry Pountney. Best friend to Buddy and Vivian Berry.
Edgar worked hard in the lumber industry his whole life to provide for his family. He enjoyed fishing and gardening when he wasn't working and throughout his retirement. He was known by others to be a kind, quiet and caring person, always willing to lend a helping hand.
In keeping with Edgar's wishes, cremation has taken place, there will be a private graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations made (payable by cheque or online) to the SAH Foundation Cancer Care Fund or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
