Peter (Pietro) Albert Costa passed away at Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the age of 62.
Peter was born in Terrace Bay, ON in 1960. He lived the majority of his life in Schreiber, ON, moving to Sault Ste. Marie this past summer. He worked in the paper mill in Terrace Bay for over 30 years eventually retiring about 4 years ago.
Peter was known for his infectious smile, friendly demeanour and his dad jokes. He cheered on the Rams to a Super Bowl win this year and enjoyed sci-fi, history television and family time.
He is predeceased by his father Vincenzo (Jimmy), best friend, travel partner and older brother Giuseppe (Joe) and his furry sidekick Nikki.
Peter is survived by his mother Maria, his children Logan (Meghan), Cassandra and Elizabeth, proud Nonno to Oliver and Evie, his best friend and mother of his children Linda Williamson, his dog Shadow “Poodle”, his brothers Frank (Antonella), Albert (Myrna) and Coe, and his many nieces and nephews. His memory lives on in the hearts of so many.
