Peacefully at Centennial Place, Millbrook, Ontario, on Friday, September 16, 2005 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Frances L. Cowan (Saxby) of Sault Ste. Marie and the late Ruth (nee Dollimore) Cowan. Dear father of Perry (Nancy), Christine Hall (Richard), Lyle (Rose) and Graham (Janna). Stepfather of Gregory Saxby (Diane). Proud grandfather of 8, "Grampa Bill" to Michelle, and great grandfather of 3. Brother of the late Robert and Doug Cowan. Friends were received at the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" I Mary St., Bracebridge, Ontario, on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The service was held at St. Thomas Anglican Church at 1:00 p.m. Interment followed at St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Thomas Church Building Fund or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
