COX, Dorothy E. “Tod” (Strong)

Peacefully, with her daughter Judy Turgeon (Ron) and her best friend Marion Frank at her side at the F.J. Davey Home on Friday, October 31, 2003 at the age of 78 years. Reunited with the love of her life the late James Cox. Survived by sisters Choloree “C” Williams (late Earl) and Bernice Chastain of Jackson, Missouri and pre-deceased by Gladys O’Farrell and her brother Lines Strong. Aunt of June Williams of Jackson, Missouri and Jim Cox, and Rick Cox (Sandy) of Pampa, Texas. Sister-in-law of the late Harold Cox (Grace) of Pampa, Texas. Fondly remembered by her relatives, neighbours and her many ‘Pipeline Friends’ around the country. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday November 3, 2003 from 1 pm until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2 pm with Mrs. Joy McPhee officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the F.J. Davey Home Residents’ Council would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the staff of A-Wing at the Davey Home for the loving care in Dorothy’s last days.
