Peacefully and surrounded by family and friends, Rob passed away at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on Saturday June 22, 2024 at the age of 35 years. Loving husband of Becky, his best friend for 12 years. Beloved son of Ron Crowle (Connie) and the late Jody Crowle. Dear brother of Ben (Meagan), Matt, Cristin (Mark) and Ron. He will be dearly missed by his grandmother, his many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. He was like a son to Glenn and Liane and a brother to Amanda (Mike). He will forever be “Unki Rob” to Oliver. The Moir family will miss him tremendously. He will be sorely missed by his many friends and colleagues who considered him to be an integral part of Algoma Steel.

Rob was an incredibly selfless man, who always put the needs of others before his own. He was a fixer and problem solver. Rob had a natural gift for finding the silver lining in any situation and reminding you what truly mattered. Those who knew him loved him.

Rob passed away after bravely battling cancer over the past year. He fought courageously and stubbornly, in typical Rob fashion, until he entered hospice care at ARCH where he finally left pain behind and found peace. Special thanks to Dr. Febbraro of the SAH Cancer Clinic, Dr. Woolner and the compassionate and caring staff at ARCH. An extra special thank-you to Rob’s cousin and best friend Jonathon “Bub” for his unwavering friendship and support. He was by Rob’s side at every step throughout his battle with cancer.
