It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our much beloved mom, sister, grandma, great-grandma, nana, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend Deanna Karen Dalla-Vicenza (Leblanc). 

She died at age 80 at Sault Area Hospital surrounded by people who loved her. 

Deanna, or Dea as her family and friends knew her, was born on February 23, 1943. 

Dea was predeceased by husband Mario Dalla-Vicenza, parents Lucien Leblanc Sr. and Vivian Leblanc and brother Lucien Leblanc, Jr. (Margaret).

She is survived by daughter Janice Skagen (Glen), sons Peter Dalla-Vicenza (Sandra Findlay) and Mark Dalla-Vicenza (Cheryl); sisters Kathy Quarrel (Alec), Lorraine Leblanc, Julia Leblanc and Monique Frair (Earl); grandchildren Sarah Skagen (Jay Thomas), Shawna Mornix (Dave), Nathan Dalla-Vicenza, Natalie Dalla-Vicenza (Mark Bilesky) and Robin Dalla-Vicenza; great-grandchildren Austin Simon, Paige Simon, Michaela Lynn; Ronan Varcoe, Everett Varcoe, Gavyn Bilesky and Gemma Bilesky.

In lieu of flowers, people can donate to St. Vincent Place and The Ranch Ehrlo Society, two wonderful organizations that were very special to Dea. 

Also, we are also requesting the people who generously want to provide food for the family can instead deliver it to St. Vincent Place, 222 Albert St E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON.

We also want to especially thank Dea’s primary medical doctors: Dr. Curran and Dr. Grosso, her doctors in the ICU at Sault Area Hospital, Dr. Marinovich,Dr. Bignel and Dr. Ghosh, and the incredibly kind and professionals at the Sault Area Hospital ICU including Sam, Linsday, Barbie and Sofie.

Friends and family are invited to gather at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East) on Monday, October 30th from 11 A.M. to 1:45 P.M. with a Service to follow at 2 P.M. officiated by Mrs. Helen Smith.
