DAVIE, Brian John

Suddenly at camp, “The Lookout” at Dunns Valley on Friday, June 10, 2005 at the age of 74. Son of the late Stanley and Gertrude Davie. Caring and beloved husband of the late Mary Davie. Loving father and best buddy of Marilyn LaFord and Scott Davie (Nancy). "Grampy" to Kyle, Kaitlin, Brandon, Tyler and Brett. "Special chum" to Wayne Singleton (nephew). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Brother of Eric Davie (Rene) of England. Sadly missed by his Legion band-mates, his darts and cribbage buddies, as well as the rest of his Legion family and sports community. A memorial service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 (96 Great Northern Rd) on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 7 pm. Rev. Bruce McLeish officiating. Cremation with interment at Dunns Valley Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 would be appreciated by the family.
