On Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. Bob passed away at the Sault Area Hospital with family by his side.
Bob was born on February 15, 1942 and is predeceased by his parents, Violet and Calvin Dawson. Survived by his sister Florence and predeceased by his siblings Lynda, Calvin, Gerald, Jackie, Mary Lynn. As a young man Bob met and married Norma and welcomed her son Pat (wife Amy, children Andre and Amanda). Bob and Norma went on to have Lee (predeceased) (Angel, and children Maurice, Sommer and Autumn). This union was not to last, and Bob married Jackie Hurley and together they had one son Jarrette (Andrea, children Jacob Causley-Wilkins and Elijah). This marriage lasted 54 years.
Bob leaves behind his beloved kitty cat fur baby Milo, as well as coffee buddies, in-laws, nieces and nephews. A big thank you to all staff at SAH that helped care for Bob over his last 2 months, everything was appreciated, and while Bob was able, he had expressed that everyone he encountered and the care he got was excellent.
At Bob's wishes there will be no services. Anyone wanting to make a donation in Bob's memory, he would have loved to see it go to the Humane Society - or any other animal rescue.
