Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital surrounded by her family, after a brief illness with cancer on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of 64 years to Joseph DiPietro. Daughter of the late Connie and Joe Gasparelli. Loving mother of Joanne Scornaienchi (late Mark), Paula Thompson (Billy), David (Tonya), Tina Connors (Todd) and Linda Williamson (Graham). Proud grandmother of Marcus (Joanna), Andrea (Rob), Mikaela, Tyler (Aly), Brett (Jessica), Dawson, Dylana, Jared (Dayle), Ryland, Jordan (Mary-Ellen) and Alexa; great-grandmother of Maya. Sister of the late Norma Werner (late Wolfgang) and Teresa Marcoux (Bill). Sister-in-law of Frank and Yola DiPietro and Nick and Carmel DiPietro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Luke Fera, Dr. Voutsadakis and Nurse Melanie, Dr. M. Hemy, Dr. K. Taylor, LHIN, Bayshore, CBI (nurses Cindy, Meaghan and Janet) and Elena PSW. A Private Family Service was held.
