It is with regret that we announce the sudden passing of Stane in his 91st year.
Beloved son of the late Bogic and Ljubinka Djordjevic. Stane will be missed by his friends in Canada and
Serbia. Originally from Yugoslavia (now Serbia) Stane was a world traveller and spent most of his vacation
time travelling to distant lands. He especially enjoyed hot climates. In addition to travelling Stane was a
regular daily walker putting in roughly 15 km walking each day. He rarely missed either the International
Bridge Walk or the MacKinac Bridge Walk. He enjoyed going to the Greyhound games and meeting with his friends and colleagues from the Algoma Steel Engineering Department for breakfast and coffee.
At Stane's request there will not be a funeral service. Interment has taken place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel
