Passed away at the Elliot Lake Hospital on Thursday, August 26, 2004 at the age of 88, a veteran of WWII. Survived by his wife Lorraine; father of Leigh (the late Helen), Gary (Judy), Lynn (Ken) O’Halloran and Gaye (Blake) Askak, Stepfather of Lori, Mickey (Jackie), Ron (Janice) Stolar, Debi (Ian) McKay, Pam Trowbridge and Cory Stolar. Proud “Papa” to numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Leopold is brother of Charlie, Frank, Vera, Sylvia and Ivy. Predeceased by his wife Shirley. A family service was held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Spanish on Saturday, August 28, 2004. Memorial contributions can be made to the Legion Branch 576 or the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services.
