Passed away peacefully at the age of 95, at the F.J. Davey Home surrounded by his loving children: Roger (Janelle), Lise (Fred), Guy (June), Robert (Karen), Raymonde (Jim) and the late Donald.

He is now reunited in heaven with the love of his life Louise Doiron and his parents Angelina and Joseph Doiron. Proud grandfather of 16 and great grandfather to many. Loved brother of  many siblings the late Tom, Rita, Blanche, Bertha, Henry, Charlie, Eleanor, Emilia, George and survived by Roland. Loved by many nieces and nephews.

Art was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He also served in World War 2. He was also a former employee at Algoma Steel retired as an engineer. His true passion in life was playing guitar in his band for many years at local nursing homes.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. A private service will be held for the family. Special thanks to the staff at the F.J. Davey Home for their compassion and care over the years. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
