On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, Iolanda “Olga” D’Urzo passed away peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa. Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe “Joe” and loving mother of Lucia “Lucy” (Richard), Tommasina “Tammy”, and Philip (Mariah). Much loved Nonna of Valerie, Caterina, Brianna, Riley, Isidore and Lily. Cherished Bisnonna of Felix and Milo. Predeceased by her parents Tomasso and Natalina Molinaro and her in-laws, Filippo and Lucia D’Urzo. Dear sister of the late Maria Marasco (Giuseppe) and Silvana Bianchi (Frank). Sister-in-law of Natale D’Urzo (Lucia), Rosa D’Urzo, Fioretta Bonacci (Ezio) and the late Roberto D’Urzo (Ida). Also survived and loved by many cherished nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E.705-759-2522) on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 11 am. Rev. Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Alzheimer Society.
