ELLIS, Albert George

Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, October 27, 2017 in his 97^th year.  Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Jannison)  .  Loving father of Jim (Late Marylin) and Don (Elizabeth).  Cherished  Grandfather of Jim Jr., Jason ( Monique Plante), Janet (Tom Jackson) of Sault Ste. Marie and Eric (Carla) of Ingersoll.  Great grandfather of Abby, Taylor (Matt), Brooklynn, Hailey, Emma, Ryann and one on the way.  Great great grandfather of Carsyn and Thomas.  Predeceased by his parents, by his siblings Jean Grigg (late Jim), and Carol Beilheartz (late Reg) and by his sister-in-law Marion Graham (late Jack) and Bea Johnson (late Don).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Friends may visit the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel  (492 Wellington St. E. – 705-759-2522) on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 11 am until 12:30 pm.  Funeral service from the chapel at 1 pm.  Pastor Jack Devries officiating.  Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.  Memorial donations to SAH foundation or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.  The Ellis family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital palliative care team specially Dr. Booth and Albert’s church families from First Baptist, Parkland Baptist, and from Community Bible Church for the many years of spiritual friendship.  They would also like to thank Chris Caldwell, superintendent of Pancake Bay Provincial Park, George Jones former superintendent and the staff past and present for being such good friends over the years.  Thank you to Premier Home Care, Care Partners and Veteran’s Affairs for their help and kindness.
