Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Sault Area Hospital on August 29, 2022, just one day short of his 92nd birthday.
Jim is now reunited with his dear wife Lillian. Loving father of Rhonda Scott, Judy Diotte (Emerson), Jim Errington, Keith Errington and Patricia Lucente (Ron Chartrand). Proud grandfather of Penny Bridge, John Errington, Brendan Scott, Wesley Diotte (Adrienne), Ryan Diotte (Becky), Jim Errington (Jennifer), Robin Domen (Adam), Tamara Paul (Matthew), Kevin Errington, Kate Errington (Chas Hutchinson), Jodie "Jojo" (Jason Chanis), Tyler Lucenti, Chantal Lucenti (Luke Hazelton). Great grandfather of 20 wonderful grandchildren who all held a special place in his heart. Predeceased by his parents James Sr. Errington and Doris (Nee Trudeau). Predeceased by his siblings Joan Ramsay (late George), Ginger Lepage (late Hank), and Vinny Errington (late Donna). Son-in-law of the late H.M. Robbins and late Edna (nee Lamming). Brother-in-law of the late Dorothy Varcoe (late Don). Jim will be missed and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522) on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 between 10 am - 12 pm. Funeral service to take place in the Chapel at 1 pm with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Jim will be laid to rest with his wife at West Korah Cemetery.
