Passed away at home on Thursday, May 30th, 2024, at the age of 83.
Predeceased by his wife Hazel Evans. Father to Rodney Evans (Wendy), Greg Evans (Dawn), and Jackie Evans-Cole (Dan). Grandfather and great-grandfather to many.
Brother to the late Beverly McKay (late Walter), Donnie, late Judy Cooke (George), late Ken (Emma), Lois Ruddel (Reece), late Murray, Shirley Ager (Steve) and Russ (Leanne). Brother-in-law to the late Joyce Vaughan (late Bill), Reta Pecora (Ted), late Gladys McMillan (Larry), Jean Durling, Shirley Rice, Donna Cress (Marvin), Arlene, Garry MacDonald (Claire), Glennis Leach (Jim) and Betty Lou MacDonald (Rick). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Very good friend of Len Carr.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
The family would like to thank the Searchmont Community Volunteer Fire Department, Aweres Volunteer Fire Department and Goulais Fire and Rescue Volunteers. They would also like to thank the OPP, especially Constable Kevin Hicks.
