Passed away at St. Catharines General Hospital, on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the age of 71.
Beloved husband of Tuija (nee Leed). Loved father of Carlo and his wife Christina. Cherished Papa of Gabriela and Matteo. Predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe and Giuseppina Filice. Dear brother of Ida Spadafora (Domenico), late Maria Rosito (late Michael), late Francesco Filice (Carmela), Santino Filice (Franca), son in law of Kalervo and Riitta Leed, and brother-in-law of the late Sakari Leed, Marita Sangestini (Larry), Soili Dagenais (Norm) and Ole Leed. Carlo is also remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and their families.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Monday August 14, 2023, from 4-9 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions to West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
