At Sault Area Hospital (General) on Sunday May 16, 2004, Pearl May (Petingalo) Flood in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Gerald Flood and the late John Petingalo. Dearly loved mother of Carolynn Colynuck (Robert) and Ralph Petingalo (Lisa). Dear stepmother of Pamela Evans (late Norman), Sharon Kordupel (Mike), Bonnie Pendergast (Mark), Tracy Gauthier (Richard) and the late Warren and Robert Flood. Grandmother of Kara, Laurin, Chelsey, Dustin, Jonathon, Jordan, Tammy, Terry, David, Stephanie, Luke, Vanessa, Dylan and Reilly. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren. Sister of Albert Gentilcore (late Reba), Beverley Jones, Lucille Rice (late Don) and Yvonne Stribling (late Dick) step sister to Jim and Tony Gentilcore. Pearl is also survived by many sisters and brothers in law, nephews and nieces. Born in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan, Pearl came to Sault Ontario at the age of nineteen. She was a member of St Gregory’s C.W.L. and St. Gregory’s choir. She will be sadly missed by her many friends. Wednesday May 19th from 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass Thursday, May 20th at St Gregory’s Church Estelle St at 1 p.m. with Rev. Victor Amadio officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the Community Cancer Clinic or St Gregory’s Statue fund would be appreciated.
