It is with deep sorrow to announce the sudden passing of Barry Forde on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the age of 80.
Survived by his wife, Vivian Forde (nee Veitch), son Owen Forde (Tanya). Predeceased by his beloved daughter Angela Dawn Forde. Grandfather of Mitchell Bain (Paige), Cora Bain (Denys) and Willow Forde. Great grandfather of Oaklynne Bain. He has finally been reunited with is daughter Angela in heaven.
Barry was an avid hunter and gunsmith. His passion in life was being out in the bush, rescuing animals and providing for his family. He was a creative storyteller and loved to share his adventures and knowledge with anyone who had the time to listen.
As per Barry's wishes there will be no funeral service. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522). Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to S.A.A.D. (society for animals in distress, Elliot Lake) would be appreciated.
