Les Gabel passed away peacefully after a short illness at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, September 3, 2002 in his 76th year. A resident of Carlisle, Ontario, and formerly of Sault Ste. Marie. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy. Special friend to Mary Taylor and family of Carlisle. Dear father of Jan and Gerald Sundwall of Carlisle, Debby and Pat Wysynski of Windsor and Carli and Brad Chitty of Guelph. Loved papa to Tricia, Trevor, Chrissy (Jason), Bradley and Mikaela. Dearest brother of Bert, Pearl and Lillian and brother-in-law of Kay Rogers, Isabel Marinelli and Melva Gabel. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. A graveside service will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday, September 7 at 12:00 noon. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
