Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday May 11, 2018 with those who she loved by her side. Loving wife of the late Douglas Gaetz (2012). Cherished mother of Joanne Gaetz (Ben Pascuzzi) and Michael Gaetz. Adored grandmother of Vanessa and Matteo Pascuzzi, Madeline, Amelia and Sebastian Gaetz. Also loved by her siblings and many nieces and nephews. Anne and Doug enjoyed many years at their dream home in Batchewana Bay, enjoying the outdoors with their family and friends. Anne was a very generous person who enjoyed sharing her time and treating her family and friends. Anne and Doug loved animals and got great enjoyment and happiness from the many pets they had over the years. In respecting Anne's wishes, a private family service was held. Memorial contributions to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Special thank you to Dr. Pauline Bragaglia for all her care and love over the years and to the doctors, nurses and staff in ER and Palliative Care 2A at the Sault Area Hospital for their care and compassion at the end of Anne's journey. Also, words cannot express the gratitude and thanks for all the love and support of Anne's respite worker, Claudia Orr who Anne loved like a daughter.
