It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of Lionel Gaudreau at the Blind River District Health Centre on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at the age of 85. Dear husband of the late Eva Gaudreau. Dear father of Roger (wife Huguette) of Azilda, Leo (wife Marie) of Blind River, Lise Palin (husband Rosaire) of Elliot Lake, Constance Gaudreau of Blind River and Yvon (wife Dianne) of Worthington. Dear grandfather of Johanne Thompson (Victor), Ivan (Dalida), Eric (Veronique), Lauren Machinski (Dwayne), Lynda Rushton, Richard (Angel), Kimberly Grover (Scott), Kenneth Palin (Cheer), Anna-Lisa Clarke (Peter Tott) and Deliska Horne (Peter Lorden). Also survived by 17 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River, Thursday, April 8th, 2004, from 11:00 a.m. till service time at 2:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home with Sr. Bernadette Paquette officiating. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Blind River District Health Centre would be greatly appreciated.
